States/Cities: Roxas City, Capiz
A letter from longtime fan Fr. Emil brings Capt. Joy to the seafood capital of the Philippines! Accompanied by Fr. Emil and friend Fr. Jibin, he heads to Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion to share his love for aviation with its students. They drive to the municipality of Panay to see the Sta. Monica Parish Church, which houses not only a museum filled with artifacts, but the largest belfry in Asia, the Panay Church Bell.
More sightseeing continues at the Roxas City Museum, the Panay River Plains, and the famed Suhot Cave and Springs. Capt. Joy also stops by the ancestral home of President Manuel Roxas. He then goes on a unique river cruise around different fishing villages. Here, he learns how to catch crabs and eat freshly harvested milkfish and oysters.
